Two Years of enter.art - A Tribute
For the second year in a row, we celebrate the birthday of enter.art with sentimental thoughts and visual treats (as is tradition). From the bottom of our hearts, a huge thank you to everyone following the journey and contributing to creativity in the enterverse.
Once again, a year has passed in the enterverse, and we’re pretty darn stoked to celebrate our two-year anniversary with the (in our humble opinion) world’s best community!
During the past two years, enter.art has had the outright pleasure of hosting the artworks of 2000+ of the world’s brightest artists, with a wide array of passionate collectors alongside them. We’re beyond grateful for sharing this journey with you, and for the occasion, we’ve taken the time to write a few Haikus (some of them even rhyme a little bit).
enter.art, time flies,
Two years of artistic highs,
Digital wonders thrive.
And time does indeed fly, especially when in as good company as the one we’ve been in. Over the past two years, the NFT space has developed rapidly and drastically. One of the most crucial developments we’ve experienced is the gradual adoption of NFTs in the consciousness of people outside the traditional crypto communities.
From niche to mainstream,
Art's digital dreams take hold,
NFTs conquer hearts.
We saw this at last year’s Tons of Rock festival, where we had the outright pleasure of introducing thousands of metalheads to the concept of NFTs, metaverse galleries and different concepts of NFTs meeting the physical world. The response was fantastic, and we saw that the idea of NFTs had already started to take hold in people's minds.

While we’ve always believed in the usecases of NFTs and have seen the effect the technology can have on companies, peoples and artists lives first hand, there is something special about introducing it to people who are completely new to the tech IRL. Particularly with the visual examples from some of our favorite artists readily at hand to truly illustrate the magic. With NFT Oslo, Scandinavia’s first Web3 conference coming next year, we’re beyond excited to yet again showcase the diversity of art from the enterverse with NFT-curious people in one of Oslo’s finest event locations.
Inside the space, we’ve seen rapid development as well. One of the more interesting developments, has been the adoption of DeFI in the NFT space.

Investment's intertwine.
We’ve worked diligently to include DeFi mechanics in our marketplaces over the past year. Firstly with the introduction of NFT staking pools on enter.market, where NFT Projects can now fund their own staking pools, so their holders can have their NFTs and eat them too, so to speak. NFT staking pools allow holders to gain additional utility and value from their NFTs and thereby work toward an increased floor price for the collections.
We’re excited to continue incorporating DeFi mechanics into the ecosystem through Project Symbiosis, which will introduce the first NFT Listing Pools to the BNB Chain. Here, governance participants can use their voting power to fund Listing Pools with future $ENTER emissions, so holders can list their NFTs there to earn rewards. This facilitates trading and allows holders to earn $ENTER for the duration of their listing.

All technicalities aside, what truly makes enter a place to call home, is the diversity of passionate artists and collectors spreading ideas, innovating together and supporting each others journeys in art, in life, and in the NFT space as a whole. We’re immensely proud to see that as we grow and expand the ecosystem, new members are warmly welcomed, familiar faces are dropping by to say GM, and that no matter what question might arise, someone is always there to help out along the way.
With a broad range of artists representing every corner of the world and any genre, enter.art truly is a treasure chest of art in the NFT space. To every artist and collector whose been here since the very beginning, we cannot thank you enough for being a part of creating a unique pocket in the web3 space where art and innovation can thrive.
