One of the reasons we created the enter.blog, was for the audience to get to know the depths of everything enter. Here, we will take a dive into everything related to the enter.ecosystem, and talk to the people involved on all levels. A playground and meeting place for artists, crypto enthusiasts, audio heads and creators of all genres.

Today we’re going to get to know Jan Bora, a digital artist and photographer based in Milano. He has previously worked in Oslo as a photographer, and as a digital artist for various architectural firms.

A bit of a hidden gem in the enter gallery, where he has minted parts of his amazing series “Supernatural”. As one of our beta applicants, we had the pleasure of getting to know his art and vision back in June, and we were already then astonished by his approach to his creations. Not only does he make immensely intricate 3D animations depicting otherworldly expressions, he also creates the audio, giving a beautiful audio visual experience.

“My research explores the hidden energy of nature. I'm focused on the relation between art and science. I am attracted by the process of derealisation, stimulating to reflect on the invisible energy that connects the real and virtual dimensions. I use different artistic means for my visual research. Mainly I create CGI animations conceived as LOOPs and I also use photography with hybridisation of 3D elements. Sounds and music are essential parts of animations: I use various synths for creating sounds and a cello.”

SUPERNATURAL
is a work generating from an idea of exploration of the physical phenomena ruling nature, from the fall of neutrinos onto earth to the hidden movement of the roots of trees that defy the friction of the soil, from the self combustion of plants to the erratic boulders on a glacier.

The work addresses the problem of the weakness of reality in our time, increasingly dominated by technology, by the development of the virtual, by the digital. An investigation into intrinsic forces made manifest through real experiments and computer simulations in which reality and artifice hybridise.
